It seems that every area of professional expertise has a set of in-crowd acronyms. Back in the day, when I was in software, we had so many – even down to TLAs (three letter acronyms). And now as a pro domme, it turns out that our community has almost as many acronyms...

In general, I feel up to speed with most of them – especially where I can relate them to something I do with slaves / sissies. But even then, there are occasions where I get an initial inquiry from a new person, and I feel obliged to check in with the Urban Dictionary to check that I do in fact enjoy that particular thing (whatever it is – but I am soon properly informed).

But I was recently hanging out with a friend and fellow domme, and we were smoking (it’s legal now in CA), and perhaps we were a little stoned – and we got to giggling about acronyms. So it was only a short distance from CBD to CBT, which amused us greatly. We could imagine being so chill on CBD while imposing CBT on some grateful slave. But where would we go from THC… Perhaps to THB?
