Way back… When I was doing a course at the Academy of S&M Arts Womens Pro Intensive, I was struck by something that Cleo Du Bois said – that so many of her long term slaves recognized and locked into the perfume she wore – that they associated the smell of the perfume on her with their submission.
I see that happening too. For years, when I was back in the UK I always wore an amber perfume from the Body Shop. But they stopped doing it. Which is always an issue with perfumes, lipstick, makeup etc. – the manufacturer changes the formulation and/or the product so frequently. So then I started using a perfume by Tocca called Stella, which really melded with my natural skin tone. And it is that combination that my slaves and sissies have come to associate with me.
But a few months ago, as I got near to the end of my latest Stella perfume spray, I picked up a new perfume at Rainbow Grocery - my local organic cooperative - where every product is “shade grown by lesbian dolphins of color”. It’s a Tunisian Amber – and it is so much like the amber perfume I wore back in the UK. So it is my new favourite.
But then… It seems to have thrown off some off some of my regular slaves and sissies. They appear to be so used to me smelling like Stella, that now when I smell like Tunisian Amber, they on the one hand, still recognize me, but on the other hand, almost do not. When I am up close and personal, do they know that it is me…?
Who knew that smell was so powerful?!
